Chengdu Traffic Inn Hostel Intro:

Hi dear friends, this is Wang Zhi. I think many of you who had lived in China for a long time may have known me for years, remember the 'gadget guru' Eddie in Mix Hostel :-) After much preparation my team and myself fulfilled a dream that is to start a hostel of our own. This new born hostel is called "Traffic Inn" and like before we are ultra excited to see you in Chengdu: it's our hometown we vow to be good hosts!
(Please note our hostel is built inside Traffic Hotel, behind the main building)

Chengdu Traffic Inn is very centrally located, it's conveniently sandwiched betweened Xinnanmen station and city center, with bar street to the right and major touris attractions on the left, all within walking distance.

Xinnanmen station has daily schedules to many areas in Sichuan. Most noticeable of all are:

* Bifengxia gorge
* Panda breeding centre
* Leshan grand buddha
* Emei shan
* Jiuzhaigou valley
* Four girls mountain
* Hailuogou glacier
* Qingcheng shan
* Sanxing dui ruin
* Kanding, Tagong, Ganzi
* Huanglongxi old town
* Luodai old town
* Pingle old town

Most tourist attractions in Chengdu are concentrated on the west side, when you go out of Chengdu Traffic Inn, turn left and continue on for the next 25 mins you can arrive "Tibetan Quarter", "Jinli Night Street", "Wuhou Temple", Green Ram Daoist Temple".

And shopping center like "Chunxilu pedestrian", "Wangfujing Store", "Carrefour Super-mart". And western comforts like "McDonald", "Starbucks", "Pizzahut", "KFC", are all within reach within 10 mins walk to the North.

Coming by plane, the airport shuttle stop is tucked inside an alley next to Minshan Hotel. Up ahead is "Tianfu Square" where Mao Statue sits and down below by the river you can see Chengdu Traffic Inn.

Coming by train you can just walk straight ahead off of the exit. Turn right for bus 55. Ride to Xinnanmen stop and back track to river. Our hostel is 100m inside river lane.

We have electronic version Lonely Planet guidebooks for almost every country in Asia, you can choose to print only the chapters you need. The first 10 papges are free, onwards is

0.5 CNY / page. Much clearer than photocopy.
